When I called about what I needed to bring to NOT pay the insurance that my credit card company covers me for, I got a response within hours – and it was clear what I needed to bring.

I got a cell phone with unlimited GPS and internet, and it worked in our units in Sámara and Nosara when the sell phone my companion had did not. (he was with a smaller carrier, Vamos’ phone was one of the biggest providers)

I got a free cooler to put my pop (beer, whatever) in to take around to the beach (well, don’t take beer to the beach). It’s a small thing – but really: it is one of the best add-on’s you can get, you can’t really bring a cooler in your suitcase, and you don’t want to buy one and throw it out at the end of your trip.

The staff was friendly and fast. Gave me instructions that were clear when coming out of the San Jose airport, and they were waiting for me when my flight arrived (they asked for my flight info so they could meet me and pick me up.)

Basically everything about them was wonderful, the best experience I’ve had, and I’ve rented dozens of cars in over 17 countries in my lifetime.
